West Hyde Midnight Ice-skating
West Hyde Youth Project in Three Rivers, along with other projects from around the county, all went on a Midnight Skate trip on Friday 2nd December 2011 at Alexandra Palace.

Young people from West Hyde enjoyed this event and have sent in
a review - written by Lucy, below. Everyone mastered the art but
took some falls on the way!
My name is Lucy, the Midnight Skate was brilliant which it always
is - arriving at the club late at night is good fun. We all watched
a bit of "Celebrity" then the mini bus arrived. We had a great
coach with our own toilet, very posh! When we got there, we all put
our skates on at midnight and hit the ice - the music was really
good everyone was really friendly. Every one of us seemed to
improve on our skating skills.
Connor met some different girls and skated with them, Harry really showed his skills by trying to go backwards but took a fall in the process with soaking wet jogging bottoms but he still carried on skating. Alex, our volunteer, made it even more fun by playing a game of tag and William and Josh kept weaving in and out of the other skaters.
We came off the ice at 4am and fell asleep on the coach. We returned to the Youth Centre where we got into our sleeping bags, had some hot chocolate then fell asleep. We woke up at 8am to go home with our parents.
What a night, FANTASTIC! From the West Hyde Midnight Skating Gang.
