Daft Punk Tron Legacy soundtrack review by Jack

December will see the release of yet another Disney movie, but this time around they've got someone special to do the soundtrack. Daft Punk haven't released anything for a while now, and are long overdue a tour.

This wouldn't be the first movie Daft Punk have taken part in. Their album 'Discovery' was also released with 'Interstellar 5555' - an animated movie about a futuristic band who's life take a massive change after performing 'One More Time'. Each section of the movie is set to match each song and synced with the plot and vocals.

Most of the songs from the Tron Legacy soundtrack have been released on the internet. All of it can be found on YouTube or on Daft Punk's facebook page. There are two songs that aren't available just yet, as it seems they would like to keep them for the release of the movie and album. From the large part of the soundtrack that is already released, it seems Daft Punk have returned to their old roots, with some classic house and dance music. It's very much like their old self-titled album from way back in the 90's.

It's something any Daft Punk fan is excited about, and will enjoy. Definitely worth checking out if you're into your older dance tracks, the 'classics'. It also makes the movie seem a watch, despite it not being my type.

I'm excited for the rest of the album, as well as hopefully a tour announcement.
