Interested? Well the Hertfordshire vinvolved team want you to get involved
Vinvolved is the national Youth Volunteering Scheme for young people aged 16-25. They help young people get involved in making a difference to the people, projects, and issues you feel passionately about. In Hertfordshire, v is delivered by a local vinvolved team; they believe every young person has the skills and ability to change their community for the better, and their mission is to help you discover that.
Why?
Joining a Youth Action Team (YAT) gives young volunteers a chance to develop ideas about planning new projects and work them through. YAT want to give you the tools to help make a difference to people surrounding you, in your community, school or area. This is about you and your community.
Volunteering your time is a brilliant way of making society a better place for everyone – AND you could gain valuable experience, skills, knowledge, new friends, and have a lot of fun along the way. Youth Action Team members can also receive awards and qualifications for their work.
