UNITY- a celebration of diversity
You are invited to join Hertfordshire's biggest art project!
What does diversity mean to you?
- Know more – explore diversity in Hertfordshire.
- Do more – get active and join the county’s biggest art project.
- Share more – celebrate what UNITY means to you.
What is the UNITY project?
The UNITY art project is about exploring and celebrating rich diversity in Hertfordshire. The idea is to encourage you to think about your own communities, family history and culture - what UNITY means to you and capture the essence of this in a photograph.
This project will aim to involve as many young people (aged 13-19, extending to 25 for young people with a learning difficulty or disability) as possible. Everyone is invited to take part in what will be the Hertfordshire's biggest art project. This is an opportunity to celebrate the contribution of everyone who has taken part.
How can you get involved?
We want you to take a picture of what that you feel represents diversity to you.
This could be a picture of a friend, a group of friends or a family member. Click on the logo below to find out instructions and information on how to enter.
What next?
Each picture will be made into a large photo mosaic to be put on public display. This will demonstrate that Hertfordshire is a diverse community of many different groups - much like a mosaic created of many unique pieces.
