picture of old compass There are a number of Youth Connexions One Stop Shops across the county or if you are still in school or college you can visit one of the drop in sessions in school/college or make an appointment to speak to an adviser.

If you need some specialist support for emotional issues, a Youth Connexions Personal Adviser can refer you to a counselling. There are different types of counselling available: Brief Therapy or longer-term therapy. You can discuss with a Personal Adviser which might be best for you. Take a look at the 'Brief Therapy' leaflet at the base of the page, and make an appointment with a Youth Connexions Personal Adviser to discuss further.

 

  • Phone Connexions Direct for FREE on 080 800 13 2 19 Youth Connexions One Stop Shop – You can call in and get help on everything from family problems to handy telephone numbers.  
  • Connexions Direct - You can call Connexions Direct between 8am and 2am, seven days a week.  Advisers are trained to give confidential and practical help.

Other ways to contact Connexions Direct:

  • Adviser on-line  This  is a one-to-one, on-line confidential chat with a trained Connexions Direct Adviser.
  • E-mail -  If you email Connexions Direct they reply to you within 24 hours.
  • Text  - You can text for simple information like telephone numbers. If you want more in-depth information and advice, call Connexions Direct on  080 800 13 2 19 from a landline and tell the adviser your mobile number - they will call you back.
  • Textphone -If you are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech difficulties you can contact Connexions Direct by email, text message or Adviser online. You can also call the Connexions Direct textphone number: 08000 968 336.
  • Chatroom- Where you can talk to other people and share things in a safe place. Look out for the topic of the day. The chat is open at certain times.
  • Message board- If you want to join in a debate and get tips and advice from other young people.
