WIN! Your own private art gallery

Open to all young people at school or resident in the Broxbourne District. Are you a budding artist? Have you ever dreamed of showcasing your work to the public? Now is your chance!

Youth Connexions is giving you the opportunity to express yourself and the issues young people face through art. The prize is a space for up to 15 pieces of work to be shown for a month, beginning with a private viewing for friends, family and local dignitaries. A £25 voucher for art materials from a local supplier and the possibility of selling pieces of work through using a catalogue (help can be provided to produce this, if needed). The exhibition space can accommodate 15 large pieces of work.

The Competition  

  • The competition is only open to young people who live or go to school in the Broxbourne district.
  • The subject matter is: "Issues faced by Young People".
  • You need to be aged between 13-19 (up to 25 with a learning disability of difficulty). 
  • The art works can be of any media (paint, print, photo, mixed media textile, digital…) that can be hung on walls (sorry no sculptures, models or maquettes at this stage).
  • The art can be any size from A4 to A2.
  • The winner to be announced on the 9th March. 
  • Exhibition dates are 16th March until 13th April 2012.
  • Pictures to be delivered to the Cheshunt One Stop Shop:178, Croosbrook Street, Cheshunt, EN8 8JY
