My Chemical Romance review

Have you ever been hit with an atom bomb that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside? This is the best way I can describe My Chemical Romance’s new song ‘Na Na Na’. After not producing anything for over two and a half years, My Chemical Romance have come back with a track that will wipe out all competition for song of the year, then kick them for good measure.
The band has had to battle through the hardest challenge they may have ever faced! My Chemical Romance were blamed for creating an ‘emo’ cult. It was believed that this ‘cult’ resulted in mass suicides across the world. I would first like to point out that Gerard and co. are HUMANS. This may surprise some people but not all famous stars are processed monsters. I seriously doubt that this band would have tried to get people killing themselves because of an album.
This caused the band members such grief at being blamed for many people taking their lives and being beaten. I don’t know how you would cope with it but I would not cope well with people laying that size blame on your head. Having this traumatic experience, the band had had enough of it all, they all took a break. Gerard, the lead singer, decided that he would write more comics. Being a comic writer, no one cares about who you are and what you’ve done, just like wearing a mask.
He then moved into a remote desert with his wife Lyn-Z. Out in the middle of the desert he could be himself and not have to face people’s opinions about him all the time. He realised out there that it doesn’t matter what people think, it’s what you do to change their minds. He then wrote the song ‘Na Na Na’ which blew his fellow band members away. This inspired the rest of them to carry on and bring My Chemical back to life with the album, ‘Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys’.
Their single ‘Na Na Na’ took my breath away the first time I listened to it. It’s definitely My Chemical Romance but with a new alive energy to them. They are even smiling after their traumatic experiences and they don’t have a care anymore. The lyrics to the video are a pure work of genius on top of the most catchy tune you may hear in a long time. This IS the band to look out for in the future, again.
Thank you for reading my articles guys, till the next time I write an article look after yourselves. Kieran.
